Discipline Definition

To be eligible for recognition under the Elympic Sports Federation (ESF), a discipline must fundamentally require an electronic and/or battery-powered component for its operation. This includes any competitive format in which performance, functionality, scoring, control, or gameplay is dependent upon electronic systems, digital interfaces, intelligent software, or battery-powered mechanisms.
Disciplines whose core operation relies solely on human physical exertion, mechanical motion, or gravity, without essential electronic or technological integration, do not fall within the scope of ESF recognition and governance.
The ESF therefore exists to regulate, certify, and advance competitive disciplines that represent the convergence of human ability, machine intelligence, and technology-enabled performance, positioning such disciplines as the formal future of organised sport.
